Peter is an urban photographer and town planner, having much experience of cities and how they function. His photography celebrates all that makes up the urban environment - cultural events, festivals, people in the street, community (street) photography, architecture and open spaces, regeneration and community action projects. Peter’s portfolio can be seen at www.fotog.info. His natural leaning towards observing the rich context of all that is happening about him led him to become an urban photographer. He is now very much enjoying taking forward FOTOG as a photo-artistic concept. Peter’s work might normally be described as 'Street Photography' but he sees his remit as wider than that photographic genre. He seeks to imaginatively record the rich tapestry of urban life and activity... the things people do, the places and buildings they live in, the fun, the hardships, and the multitude of moments that make up our lives. His creative desire is to get right into urban life and to develop a way to see and understand everything within it.
