The Westminster Artist run space Commission was awarded to 'group+work'.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Gallery Education Commission was awarded to Intervention Gallery with Lorenzo Belenguer.

Curating Commission - Brent
Fee: £1,000.
Emerge would like to support an artist/group of artists in proposing and managing a group show. The theme for the show and the number of artists involved is open. We are looking for a project that would develop the skills of the organising artist/group as well as providing an exhibiting opportunity for other artists.

Peer Review Network Commission - Enfield
Fee - £1,000.
Emerge would like to support an artist or group of artists in proposing and managing a peer review networking project. The format and aims of the project are up to the proposing artist(s). We are looking for a project that would develop the skills of the organising artist/group as well as the proposed project providing a professional development opportunity for an additional number of artists.

Gallery Education Commission - The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Fee: £1,500
Emerge would like to support an artist/group of artists in proposing and managing an education project. Format and aims of the project are up to the proposing artist(s). We are looking for a project that would develop the skills of the organising artist/group as well as providing a participatory experience for the public.

Artist run space Commission - Westminster
Fee: £1,500
There are two options for proposing a project to Westminster. They are:
1 Church Street Library. Emerge would like to support an artist or group of artists in proposing and managing the newly refurbished Church Street Library’s Open Space (an open courtyard at the entrance of the library). This would be a temporary project and the proposal would present ideas to animate the Open Space.
2 Artist run space. Emerge would like to support an artist or group of artists in proposing and managing a new artists’ run space. This could be for an ongoing or temporary project. Format and aims of the project are up to the proposing artists.

Collaborative Practice Commission - Barnet
Fee: £1,500
Emerge would like to support an artist or group of artists in proposing and managing a project to support collaborative practice or action. This could be for an ongoing or temporary project. Format and aims of the project are up to the proposing artist(s). We are looking for a project that would develop the skills of the organising artist or group.

Past Bursaries
In its first year Emerge awarded 5 bursaries of £500 each, to artists’ groups across the Emerge boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey and Harrow.
